  • Must be able to help you establish a fair asking price for your home. 
  • Must be able to communicate succinctly and regularly and be available when you need them.
  • Must be willing to document their investment of time and money in your project up front.
  • Should list your property in the Multiple listing services (MLS). 
  • Must be willing to document the investment of time and money in your project up front.
  • Must create, place and fund advertising for your home as part of the marketing and sales plan. 
  • Must manage the showing of your home via appointments to prospective buyers even when you are not there. 
  • Must filter "time wasters" or buyers who will not qualify for a mortgage to buy your home. 
  • Must manage and assist your negotiation with the buyer. 
  • Must have documented processes and procedures for the tasks necessary to sell your home. No making it up as they go along. You need an expert, so ask to see their Sales and Marketing Plan
